Among the illustrators who managed to convey the depth of Chekhov's books were the writer's brother Nicholai Chekhov, the famous World of Art artist Dmitry Kardovsky, David Dubinsky, Sergey Alimov.
The lecture by the Anton Chekhov researcher, specialist at the Russian State Art Library, Vera Murzinova, is devoted to the works of these and other artists who left a bright mark on the illustration of Chekhov’s works.
